Kestrel or its nick name kessie is famous among caldari frigates pilot. Its one powerful missile boat that based on a frigate hull which with 4 missile hardpoint, its quite a frightening scene for any frigates to encounter this. Its also boast nice cargo space so its quite suitable for deep space cargo transportation ship if u can't afford to risk an industrial ship to do the same task due to hostile activity and low agility of an industrial ship itself. It has some major drawback which mainly its defensive capability. Like any other tech 1 frigates, its very fragile if encounter with tech 2 frigates, assault frigates, destroyers, interdictors and anti-frigate fitted cruisers or HAC. Another drawback is this ship agility is not good for its class standard which is pretty slow but still its better than any cruiser or indy. This ship motto is firepower and with missile technology that won't miss its target, its a tools of destruction in the right pilot.Usually i would fit it in this way:
4x rocket
2x web
1x scrambler
1x 400mm plate
1x MAPC
This setup could handle interceptor. This setup is lack shield booster or armor repair so its mostly do or die setup and 1 vs 1 situation if permitted. Never the less i would not fitted in any other way. This ship setup is based on Dark Shikari post in forum. You can join the discussion here.
